The Stars

Cyril is a constant visitor of mine. We have met several times in and out of the kitchen, always sharing laughs and advice. The team is always pleased to see him and take a souvenir picture. He is a fan of our food and when fellow colleagues enjoy our creations is always a verification of our excellence!

CYRIL LINGAC

Cyril Lignac is a French chef, owner and chef of the gourmet restaurant Le Quinzième (1 Michelin star), also of Le Chardenoux, a Parisian bistro located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, another bistro located in the Saint-Germain des Près district: Aux Prés and two pastry shops, La Pâtisserie Cyril Lignac located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris and the 16th arrondissement of Paris. Since 2010, his workshop Cuisine Attitude located in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, had provided cooking and pastry classes. Chef Lignac is also a TV presenter for culinary programs on the French television channel M6 and signed a series of more than 40 cookbooks which sold over 3 million copies.

It’s always a pleasure cooking for Daniel. In fact, on a hectic day at La Guerite, we saw him entering our kitchen to thank us for his tasty lunch. That pleasant surprise brightened our day. His books are a great inspiration, covering all the essentials of cooking, in a simple yet magnificent way. You should read him if you are a cooking aficionado!

Daniel Humm

Daniel Humm is a Swiss plant-based chef and owner of Eleven Madison Park. In 2003, Humm moved to the United States to become the executive chef at Campton Place in San Francisco, where he received four stars from the San Francisco Chronicle. In 2017, Eleven Madison Park became number 1 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Throughout Humm’s tenure, he and Eleven Madison Park have received numerous accolades, including four stars from The New York Times, six James Beard Foundation Awards (including Outstanding Chef and Outstanding Restaurant in America), and three stars from the Michelin Guide. In 2012, he also opened the critically acclaimed NoMad New York which garnered three stars from The New York Times, one Michelin Star, and a James Beard Foundation Award

Eva Longoria

Eva Jacqueline Longoria Bastón is an American actress, producer, director and businesswoman. She is most known for her role as Gabrielle Solis on the ABC television series Desperate Housewives, which ran from 2004 to 2012, and for which she received a Golden Globe nomination and won two Screen Actors Guild Awards with the cast. Thanks to her acting works she won three ALMA Awards, two People’s Choice Awards a Teen Choice Award.

“Desserts have always had a special place in my heart. So imagine our joy when we saw Jerome in Anna Cannes’ kitchen. His visit was definitely one of the highlights of that evening. It was an honor to know that he thoroughly enjoyed his meal (and thank goodness, the desserts) and I look forward to cooking for such a talented pastry chef again in the future!”

Daniel Humm

Winner of the International Confectionary Art Competition in 2008, before becoming the youngest World Pastry Champion in 2009 at just 23 years old, Jérôme De Oliveira is today considered one of the most talented pastry chefs of his generation. In April 2012 Jérôme moved to Cannes to open his first boutique tea room. It is at 35 rue Hoche that you can find all his creations: pastries, chocolates, confectionery… a gourmet’s paradise!

Had the pleasure to see him recently at the kitchen of Anna Cannes, however, we have met several times in and out of the kitchen. The kind of energy he brings into every kitchen he enters is unmatched. Cooking for him is always a very unique experience I will always treasure his valuable advice!

Mamo Pepino

In Antibes, behind the city walls, Mamo created the Michelangelo in 1992. A famous Italian Provençal-style restaurant that combines and perfectly embodies the flavor of both Italy and South of France. He had welcomed hundreds of celebs in his restaurant, leaving everyone always in awe of his creations. Mamo describes himself as an artist who can bring the warmth of the south of Italy and France to all of his restaurants. His Mediterranean style and passion for food are reflected in his dishes, providing a special authentic experience.

Moments like these, when internationally acclaimed chef recognize our work, are truly appreciated and fill us with energy to keep loving what we do and always put in our best effort.”

Μauro Colagreco

Mauro Colagreco is an Argentine chef at the three-Michelin stars restaurant Mirazur in Menton, France. He established Mirazur in Menton in 2006. Just six months after opening he received the ‘Revelation of the Year’ award, a brand new category to recognize his merits, from Gault&Millau, and in less than a year, he earned his first Michelin star. His second Michelin Star was awarded six years later and the third in 2019, when Mirazur was also elected as the best restaurant in the world by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. In 2022, Colagreco was the very first chef to be named UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for biodiversity.

I had the pleasure of meeting him twice during the Cannes Film Festival period. Our work has definitely many difficulties but having the chance to create meals for such legendary artists and meeting them in person is something I will always be grateful for!

Shelton Jackson “Spike” Lee is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, actor, and author. Lee has won numerous accolades for his work, including an Academy Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, a BAFTA Award, and two Peabody Awards. He has also been honored with an Honorary BAFTA Award in 2002, an Honorary César in 2003, and the Academy Honorary Award in 2015

We had a great meeting at La Petite Maison restaurant during the Cannes Film Festival. Talking to such an icon for sure was a very special moment that I will always cherish, since it has also been one of my favorite actors. Watching his films as a kid and now having seen him in person and cooking for him a delicious meal, fuels my belief that everything is possible if you don’t stop trying!

Robert De Niro

Robert Anthony De Niro is an American actor and film producer. Known for his collaborations with Martin Scorsese, he is considered to be one of the greatest and most influential actors. De Niro is the recipient of various accolades, including two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, the Cecil B. DeMille Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award. In 2009, De Niro received the Kennedy Center Honors and earned a Presidential Medal of Freedom from U.S. President Barack Obama in 2016.
